Ceiba

Maya use to see the earth as flat and square. Each extremity was located in a cardinal point and was represented by a tree called Ceiba or tree of abundance. Est was the red Ceiba, North was the white Ceiba, West was the black Ceiba, South was the yellow Ceiba and the center was the green one.

Welcome to the extremity North-West of the maya world, Mexican arid regions of the black and white Ceiba who colored my travel and tinted my photographies.
