From Desert

13 countries

13 deserts

1000 liters of water

Desert is by definition a place where no one lives. Meeting people who choose, or not, to brave these inhospitable territories must lead to uncommon stories.

Since 2017 I’ve been photographing the travelers and the inhabitants of the deserts around the world, meeting different way of living, learning different cultures and experiencing the unexpected.

“The extreme clarity of the desert light is equaled by the extreme individuation of desert life forms. Love flowers best in openness and freedom.”
